Good Friday

Today is Good Friday and I woke up at 4am.  I was so exhausted when I got home from Roan Forest meeting yesterday that I ate dinner and tried to watch a movie but just couldn't stay awake.  The great thing is that when I did wake up I felt very rested!!

Because of being awake so early I read email, which I haven't done in quite some time.  Read an article about Itunes and then I learned you can download free education "Podcasts" that can be viewed at school.  C O O L :)  The website has many teacher training videos.  This is a must see weblink

Our School Librarian is RECYCLING

Our librarian, Angie Oliverson, is working with Terracyle to recycle these items into new and useful items ... instead of sending them to a landfill. KEEP IT UP! This isn't a one time or one week thing. We'll keep doing it from here on out.

  This is just a small portion of the trash we've been able to save from landfills.

Good Friday, April 2

Spring Break is over and my children are already asking when is our next school day off!?!!?!?!  We will be taking April 2, 2010 off to celebrate Good Friday.  May everyone have a fun 3 day weekend and then we can come back and get ready for TAKS.  FUN FUN FUN

Sping Break is Over

I hope everyone had a very relaxing and restful break!   My family and I spent lots of time with family.  My favorite was traveling around Texas and playing golf at four different golf courses.  WHAT A BLAST!!

TAKS Writing Test

4th Grade will be testing on Wednesday, March 3.   Parents please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and a great breakfast Wednesday morning.  They will have breaks and snack times throughout the day.
